Partners for Livable Communities Australia is a national nonprofit company, whose purpose is to help make Australian neighbourhoods, cities and regions better places to live, work and visit.

We aim to improve the liveability of our communities by:

  • Defining liveability, so communities have a broad and consistent framework to understand and assess liveability, in their own context
  • Forging new partnerships with the wide range of corporate, government and community stakeholders needed to initiate and sustain change.

We are part of Partners for Livable Communities, based in Washington, DC, and focused on improving liveability since 1977. By combining over three decades of international experience with the local expertise of our members and affiliates, we provide advocacy and strategy to help build strong and confident communities.
